Resolution to Get Involved

One of the projects for the New Year is involvement in the new Administration.  As taxpayers it’s unacceptable for the $700 billion bailout plan to increase the U.S. debt limit to $11.315 trillion, from $10.615 trillion. Trillions!  It’s not acceptable  in several reported interviews Thomas Kelly, a spokesman for JPMorgan Chase, which received $25 billion, Kevin Heine, spokesman for Bank of New York Mellon, which received about $3 billion, and Barry Koling,a spokesman for Atlanta, Ga.-based Sun Trust Banks Inc., which got $3.5 billion in taxpayer dollars in emergency bailoutmoney were alleged to remark, “We’ve lent some of it. We’ve not lent some of it. We’ve not given any accounting of, ‘Here’s how we’re doing it.’ We have not disclosed that to the public. We’re declining to.”  They are declining to tell the taxpayers what they did with tax money,  after arriving by private jet to ask for the money?  Wow?  The problem is this event is from the out going Administration. That’s why I keep writing my Senator.  He was here when this started and he’s not going anywhere.  I’ll keep writing him for answers until he answers me, the new Administration has answers and/or the big guys in black suv’s and sunglasses show up at my door.

The Obama Administration has encouraged questions and concerns.  Write them too at It’s About You and for questions  Make yourself heard.  I personally don’t care if they say, “Oh, her again!” Yes it’s me and I want answers….don’t you?

Sharing Elements of Religion

Religious people globally observe many seasonal days of celebration during the month of December. People have varied opinions and tolerance of other religions, and thus treat the celebrations of other faiths differently. Some people value the range of celebrations in December. They respect both their own religious traditions and those of other faiths for their ability to inspire people to lead more ethical lives. Religious diversity is to them a positive influence.
